Accepting Your Nominations Today
Atlanta, GA (January 5, 2011) – Still high from all the support and accolades from last year, the CHOZEN AWARDS (CA) is back seeking to recognize this year’s unsung heroes. The CA is now accepting nominations of local heroes across the metro Atlanta area at chozenawards.com. Nominations will close on January 14, 2010. The 3rd Annual CHOZEN AWARDS will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
Nominations will be accepted for 16 categories in the areas of business, entertainment, health, hospitality and the arts.
“Our event is filled with heart and passion, and that’s why people connect with us” says Liberty, founder, CHOZEN AWARDS. “Everyone knows someone who does amazing things on the job or in their neighborhood, and those are the unsung heroes that we’re looking for. They don’t do to be seen, they just do.”
The overall winner in each category will be based on the amount of votes they receive via online voting at chozenawards.com/nominate.
Keeping with the “giving back” tradition of CA, this year’s event will benefit 40 Girls and Some Shoes with a shoe drive, and ultimate goal of collecting 1000 pairs of shoes. Additionally, six new established women will be honored for their achievements, hard work and dedication to the city of Atlanta at a brunch the week of the awards, along with Operation CHOZEN a month-long community service initiative lead by Angel of Love Events.
