Where are they now?

In this series of interviews you will get a chance to learn more about some of the winners of the inaugural CHOZEN AWARDS. You'll find out what exciting projects they're working on and take a closer look at why they are CHOZEN.

CHOZEN AWARDS: What did it mean to you to be recognized for the CHOZEN AWARD?

Tammie Reed: It meant everything to me, to get recognized for my efforts. I have been doing my talk show Talking with Tami for 6 years now. Sometimes you think to yourself, is it worth it? Is anybody listening or do they care? I see that CHOZEN AWARDS cared about my craft (lol).

CHOZEN AWARDS: What kinds of challenges have you encountered in your career, business or life in general, since winning the CHOZEN AWARDS?

Tammie Reed: I am forever challenged because I produce my own show. With all the negative reality tv shows on now, it seems that television executives don't want clean wholesome shows anymore. It's been harder for me to pitch my show now. I still keep going though because somewhere or somebody will see it and cherish what I do.

CHOZEN AWARDS: Understood. How do you overcome that; keeping your viewers engaged?

Tammie Reed: I try to think of different avenues to make my show still stay relevant. I'm using more social media now like twitter, facebook and online streaming to reach a new audience too.

CHOZEN AWARDS: What projects do you have in the works that you would like to share with our readers?

Tammie Reed: I have started hosting a lot of events. I love doing speaking engagements and hosting fab parties for women in business. I'm also traveling to do the Unveil Your Pink event with Women on the Move in Boca Raton,Fl this month.
